Mitox chainsaws

Hi everybody.

Has anyone tried a Mitox chainsaw?.

The biggest is 62cc and 4.5bhp.

Bit on the lardy side at 6.5 kg.

20 inch bar.

Price £269

and NO from me. had the 4518 from new sold it a month later on ebey heavy and gutless save your money

Look at the resale value 10 year old Huskys and Stihls still make good money - parts readily available, non OEM parts available including sprockets - well made, solid powerful.......

 

Have it fail on a job and you may lose the cost of the saw each day it isn't running

2 years domestic warranty.

Equivelent Husky double the money.

You're mistaken. The equivalent Husky saw is not double the money. You are comparing paper-specs. If you are on a tight budget then buy a smaller/cheaper Husky/Stihl saw and you are better off.

 

Or buy the Mitox, regret the purchase after one week, spend the next six months suffering and being depressed about having bought the wrong thing, and then spend the money again buying a proper saw.

4.5 horse is not gutless.

Not saying i am buying one.

They must hold some faith with a two year warranty.
