BFG All terrains on our 10 plate ranger, Discoverer Cooper STT on the L200 and on the 11 plate ranger Insa Turbo Special Tracks. The 11 plate ranger is the Rights of Way one.

What's the Ranger with the Insas like to drive on the road? Will it corner/stop ok in the wet?

Another vote here for Kumho KL71's

Cheap, not the longest lasting but amazing grip on and offroad.

Superb in the snow too.

Bought a set of road tyres from the friday add 3 years ago for £40 and plonked them on the SJ

I could run slicks on the old girl and still go places a land rover would get stuck :001_tongue:

Anything that has tread on them and doesn't cost over £120 a piece.

I think some people buy there tyres more for a fashion statement than the do the use of them.

I agree but I tend to spend the extra £5 a corner and get the BFG's as they do twice the mileage dont crack on the side walls after 5 years or go out of shape. I would prefer AT's but we are on a hill and by christmas the field will be a ft deep in slimey mud. We can just get out loaded with MT's in all weathers.
