Chainsaw accidents

I was just wondering how many of us have not only had chainsaw cuts but how they did it.

 

I've had a few in the past but thank god none recently.

I replied whilst in a tree, but was with a top handled saw.

There are multi choices but maybe I should have put top handle in tree or rear handle in tree in poll I'm guessing most in tree would be with top handle, ah well hopefully a pattern will emerge .

No, never....Prob will now though ! touch-wood. Have had some nasty cuts with Silky-Saws though!! Very easy to get complacent with the little devils !

Yep im a statistic top handled up a tree hopefully never again.

Never with a chainsaw, but yes a bloody hand saw plenty of cuts with those, I think if you have two hands on the saw and a good work position you should never cut yourself with a chainsaw in a tree.

Never had one myself but i HAVE hit my cutproof pants with a slowing chain that saved a big injure..
