I'd have tied some sandbags up on the opposite side of the tree to counteract that nasty dangerous bulge. Thus avoiding the need for that tricky climbing stuff and enabling me to invoice extra for materials :)

I was supposed to be reducing a beech today but the bad weather got the best of me :sad:

 

It would probably end up looking like pic2:blushing: either that or fell it, some people just wont listen and I cant afford to be loosing work over it!

You must make sure they have hand rails on the side. Apparently over a certain size, it is suggested that this will be an HSE requirement or so I have been told today. :bored:
