Whilst its all fine and good to start with and in dry weather, these tend to be located at a low point where road spray tends to swirl back and in a short distance of travel its useless without regular cleaning in wet weather.

I also suffer from bad hand signals I get a nod an wave from a certain chap, all is well until thud! this is with the bosses pickup:001_rolleyes: So now I back up and jump out.

Artics are so much easier, line up with mirrors. Back up until fifth wheel lock clunks in.

In the dark the picture is a little "fuzzy" but still it is a very useable for backing up to trailers etc I would recommend it for the money all day everyday,

my girlfriend bought a "ifor williams" wireless camera kit for her horse box for well over a £100 quid and the quality is no better.

Cheers, I'm sold. I am going to order the same one that Base got and a second camera. I will put one under the chip box for connecting up the chipper and trailer and get another camera and mounti it on the roof of the chip box, so ic an see the bits fall off as i drive away.

I bought a fantastic camera from maplins superb vision even at night until I noticed all the traffic overtaking on the inside. Make sure you get a mirror view camera  in the end I got one from halfords for £15 as a stop gap but its been great so still on there.

Got one fitted to my lwb transit campervan, a great invention! It has lines marking how far you are on the screen, get to the red line and you'll be about 5 inches from the wall/car/whatever.
