Heres a little footage from today, all hands were on deck most of the time so not too much to see unfortunately.

The Oak was the only one left untouched in an avenue, all had previously lost their tops.....this one was catching a lot of wind and there was substantial movement in the root plate, hence the reduction.

Nice smooth work, with some well balanced picks.

 

Looked a fair sized crane, how big and what was your lift at that distance?

 

it was a 40m cran, i believe 80ton, greenboy will know. that big piece we took right at the end was 2.4ton, the crane could have taken 4
