Its a Clinton D35, Made between 1959 and 1964!

95cc and Supposedly! 6HP.

Seems to be rare thing in the UK, no collectors value in the US.

 

Snapped up from a farm sale for £30, mainly because it was 100% complete with a good chain.

No spark, brown juice in the tank.

Popped flywheel off, shone up the points and set them, pulled tank, and carb, card stripped and checked, found to be clean, the fuel pump had caught the gunge!

 

New plug fitted and she went 5th pull.

Hilariously loud, had it cutting, very slow, no way is it 6HP, but it does only rev to about 4600!

 

Gonna try and get in the timber working area at a local rally later in the year with it.
