Thats my light sabre, it is a perfect fit..........nah, it is really a permanent marker that fits in to the MS200 carb boot perfectly to form an air tight fit.

Stihl will probably charge you a fortune for such a thing, I try to get something that does the same job for a fraction of the price:thumbup::lol:

Long may your light sabre fit!

cheers mate

I use a ferrel for blocking the intake on the 200t. It's a perfect fit on almost any stihl saw aswell.

These. Comes in any size you need.

Quick one - what is that red ended thing you use to plug the carb hole when pressure testing - looks like the end of a garden hose??

I use the red rubber tapered bungs that are made for the home brewing market, being tapered they fit the full range of machines. Just dont do what i did first and buy a bag full of the type with the hole through the middle.

Not at all Barrie, you don't stay in the game for any length of time as you have without picking up a broad wealth of info. As you know, there are a few hard won jewels that we keep amongst ourselves:thumbup:

The KM100:001_rolleyes: fuelled up both and fired them both up, I wanted to see how well the good one idled and revved out. It did both fine and the revs dropped immediately on releasing the throttle.

OK - tried the one that was playing up.....perfect on idle and revving out with the revs not holding on as before on releasing the throttle - reckon it was just short of fuel before and was pulling in a mix of air and fuel!

We shall see how it goes - The Wolfman is pretty close to me and am sure it will be back if it isn't right:001_rolleyes::blushing:

Oh, Rich, I expect Spud has covered it in his PM, but one thought is to check the inlet boot. Even though it may be intact, they tend to harden and don't always seal on the engine flange again if they have been disturbed.

I usually use a little HT grease to get a seal and allow the rubber to reform a seal on the flange - a pressure check usually diagnoses this fault, the other place for leaks is small holes in the impulse line where it locates on the crankcase!

Looking at the forecast for tomorrow looks I've I will be glued to the bench. The 034 still needs tests. The 200s need all manner of checks and tests. They run just not how I would be happy with how they should run.

Got a few saws to go over aswell. Another 034 that needs a good going over. Just to check its all good. Thing it is lacking a little bit of power. A 026 to look at. And look at getting some safety stickers for the assessment saws.
