What's on your bench today?

Fitted a wrap handle and outer dog to my 560 today, fitting handles is always a bit of a bugger, or at least wrap handles as you can't turn the saw on its side!

Also I've finally finished the partner k650, had to wait on husky to send me a gasket... Only took 2 weeks!

So they released your wraps, then. ;)

Where is the photo?

All saws used for felling should come with full wraps. I'm ambidextrous when it comes to saws, so it's doubly handy for me. Nice dawgs ya got there, too.

Here's my babies:

Admittedly, that 372 rarely wore a 20" bar.

Hi guys, new to the forum and relatively new to owning saws. Used a few borrowed ones and finally decided to get one for firewood for the logburner in the garage. Had 3 'homeowner' saws, all bought spares/repairs and now all running hopefully will pay for themselves (as a learning experience).

However on my bench this weekend was a Partner P100. Again bought not working "put it away last year now it wont start". Was expecting to need to ults the carb but it was even easier than that:

There was enough spare in the pickup line to trim the split end off and reconnect. Put it all back together and started second pull. I've set both mix screws to 1 turn out as a guess for now and the saw seems to run great and absolutely rips! Does anyone know the standard settings? Or know where I can find a manual/parts list? Anyone know if it's possible to fit the later clutch cover so I can add a chain brake?

...and a gratuitous shot of my super tidy bench

That last pic is like porn that Bridgeport is a real sweet machine :thumbup::thumbup:

I would love one

It's a great solid machine, doesn't get used to it's full potential unfortunatly as I'm rubbish with it.

Another ebay bargain, I'm lucky enough to have 3 phase im my little unit on the back of a small holding (had to plumb it in myself from farmer's consumer unit), makes 2nd hand machines a lot cheaper as most hobbyists need single phase.

How do ya like that Milwaukee impact? I saw the DeWalt and found it under powered for a 3/8.

That's my mates so not sure what he paid for it but I'm quite happy for him to keep forgetting to take it home. It's half inch but came with an impact reducer. Battery lasts forever and it's got 3 settings for nipping stuff back up. The only think it's not removed up to now we ended up shearing with a 3ft breaker bar! I only mess with cars/bikes/saws/anything greasy and mechanical as a hobby so don't know how it'd stack up as a pro tool?
