As spud said, if you click the tillotson logo on the Rowena website then it will give you a list of the carb series, click HL and you can search for your model

As for the carbs themselves, really easy to work on.

They are good guys, generally respond to mails in under 4 hours and will send a paypal request and ship on receipt of funds - always been very helpful plus their full kits are far cheaper than the OEM re-packed ones!

Considering buying a saw being sold as working but with no external clutch cover (the side casing that encloses the bar etc). Am I OK testing it without a cover (and without bar / chain ofc) provided I keep my fingers etc at respectful distance and have some way of preventing bar oil p*ssing everywhere or are there other things I need to be wary of?

If you rev it up, don't hold the throttle for an extended period, it'll over-rev and lean out

What's the saw?

Just check that the clutch is properly fixed on first.

Depends on the saw. Some have the chain brake in the cover while others, stihl inperticular have it on the side of the saw. If this is th case then apply chain brake once started and you should be able to have it ticking over nicely, it will bog when revved tho. So would have to release chain brake, but as said don't over rev it for too long as you could do some damage. No more than 10secs.
