So far so good, have had a few days running in, light loading etc. feels, sounds, looks, as good as we had hoped :001_smile:

(Yes I know, this is before we used it and we did take the bar cover off! )

definitely not a great starter when warm, hope it improves but p--d off that after 1 fill coating started flaking of Husqvarna bar..spoils the image of nice new saw.

Have you considered contacting Husqvarna warranty at all?

I bought one and i love it, its nice and light, and eats wood!!! all the lads i work with have bought on.

husqvarna have even given it a two year warranty because there that confident about how good it is as long as you use husky xp. apparently theyve been out in sweden for a year so hopefuly any problems would have been sorted out

Very disappointed with my new 560xp. Brilliant when its running.

But......

What a git to start when warm!

See a few people suffering from this. Anyone taken the problem back to Husqvarna? Any joy?

Is there a trick to warm start that I am not aware of?

Just reading through the operators manual at it seems to indicate that warm start is the same as cold start.?!?!!

i.e. choke on, cough, choke off, vroom.

It does worry me when it says "pull firmly and rapidly """until!!!"""" the engine starts"

Which seems to indicate they are not expecting it to fire up quickly! Feels like you have done a days work before it is even started!

My trusty echo CS-510 always starts up first or second time.

Will have a go at the warm start with choke and post on monday. But doesnt seem to make sense.
