  1. Have held off sending mine back til I had given it more of a chance to settle down. Hot start has improved (probably cos the weathers getting cooler and it needs choke to start after a brew!). Still doing its cutting out thing when at full revs and working hard. Looks like its going to have to go back!
  2. Was intending to send mine back this week. But used it wednesday and thursday and all went well. including hot starts and no cutting out. Used it with 20" bar too and it handled it with ease. Jury is still out for me tho. It was supposed to be replacing my old ground saw which was to sit at home as a spare but dont trust the 560xp enough to leave home without my old echo to reach for when the 560xp refuses to start! Keep the info coming about experiences and how husqvarna respond.
  3. I was tempted to go for the 357xp but was seduced by the promise of greatness! Auto tune etc etc....... Live and learn.
  4. Got mine through F R Jones and sons. Contacted them today and I am posting it back to them later this week so they can look at it. As it is under warranty they have also said they will refund my postage costs. Very impressed with their customer service just hope they can sort it out.
  5. Saw equally awkward to start today. And to add insult to injury the "auto tune" was being a pain also. Trying the warm start as described in the owners handbook just caused it to flood! Time to contact Husqvarna me thinks. Will post again when have more info. Would still like to hear from others how they are getting on with their 560's the more information the better. It could be such a good saw.
  6. Seems like there are a few too many friday afternoon saws out there! There really is no excuse for a top end saw form a respected manufacturer not to perform.
  7. Just reading through the operators manual at it seems to indicate that warm start is the same as cold start.?!?!! i.e. choke on, cough, choke off, vroom. It does worry me when it says "pull firmly and rapidly """until!!!"""" the engine starts" Which seems to indicate they are not expecting it to fire up quickly! Feels like you have done a days work before it is even started! My trusty echo CS-510 always starts up first or second time. Will have a go at the warm start with choke and post on monday. But doesnt seem to make sense.
  8. Very disappointed with my new 560xp. Brilliant when its running. But...... What a git to start when warm! See a few people suffering from this. Anyone taken the problem back to Husqvarna? Any joy? Is there a trick to warm start that I am not aware of?
