For sure its going to be a cracker , the guy on the husky stand at saltex said it wont have the rev boost ,they apparently had trouble with it back fireing when the revs dropped.

From a newbie viewpoint...

 

It's a Class 2 PPE bit of kit. Why jump to it from something like a 346XP? Bearing in mind that it's heavier too.

Because it's a different class of saw?? 346 small timber , 357-560 medium timber, 372 576 large ,390-395 very large timber, 3120 rain forest..... If I had to thin medium sized beech all day with a 346 I would be very upset,In the real world cutters are not worrying about what class of ppe ,you move up to 70cc saws and any ppe your wearing is not going to stop that saw if it hits you running flat out.

Got this saw week ago friday, done probably 6 fills. is this the quality we have to accept now?

be thankfull its only paint falling off , a firm a work with has bouth a few of these saws and has had trouble with half of them - not ticking over , not starting , a fule leak - not from a hose . i honestly dont think the saw was ready of sale .

TBH, that looks pretty good for a standard husky bar.
