Am gob smacked, cheeky bunch of b######S:ohmy: i find i have more hassle with the rich customers than the guy in the street, the rich ones always want things for NOWT and think cos they have a bit of brass they can walk over people. The other pains in the ass are the ten bob millionaires, think they have money but don't.

As they are woking on a commercial site- i.e. your woodland make sure they provide the required documents, insurance etc or make them engage a contractor to do the works. make sure they provide the required paperwork too. Hit them in the wallet, plus they have already proved themselves incompetant to carry out the work.

If they refuse just call the police :)

Yup. I would do this, and enforce it. But I would ALSO do this -

He sounds like a right tool Dean!! Calculate the cost of a container grown Poplar at 20ft then times it by 6!!! I know it'll probably be a drop in the ocean to him but it might ease the pain a bit!!!

What he has done amounts to trespass and criminal damage with intent of theft.

It all happens to Deano!!

If I wrapped myself in cotton wool and never went out the house, the roof would probably cave in.

To top it all I've had travellers up my drive four times in three days, got the shotgun by the door for the next lot but I think the message has got round now.

Absolutley fed up :bored:

My trailer at the top of the drive. They actually drove up the drive which is steep uphill and 100ft long parked at the side of the trailer and knocked on my door expecting no-one in.

Daughter answered the door and said he was wearing gloves and a rolled up balaclava in the heat we had at the beginning of the week.

She told them to go away.

The same lot came back in another van and knocked on the door again asking for my scrap, I have some lead, ali and stainless hidden round the side. The third time was an hour later my daughter caught them pulled up at the bottom of the drive.

Fourth time we showed them some 12g crimps.

Haven't been back since :001_smile:
