357 had problems with there automatic de-compression which caused probs with running which they supply a retro kit for and on the new ones back to the manual one we have about 9 of these of various ages and think there spot on now though are a lot better on 15 inch bars and we run 372s for 18 inch

not going off subject we run all heated handles as well if you are spending £500 on a saw for many years use what is another £30 think of your hands

i run my stihl 341 on .325 and my 361 on 3/8. steve why did you get a 341? the 361 is the sameweight and more powerful just a little bit more expensive. my 341 was VERY cheap so got it as another back up.

same jp, the price was right and it was something different to try. crap saw with the 3/8 chain on though. i did the same as you, dropped to .325 and a 9 tooth sprocket
