Save your money & buy new,sounds like the 346xp would be a good place to start.

 

And i can assure you its worth every penny of ur hard earned cash, i brought a pile of **** and they recommended the 346xp on here so i brought one and its an assume tool, try ur hardest to buy new now because it'll be the best option in the end!!!

 

Also i know it seems daft but offer to work free for a week to show them ur dedicated and willing, slightly different on a farm perhaps, but a had one chap do that with me for a tractor driving job, i thought why not, nothing to loose and if nothing else we can take the piss when he doesn't turn up on the second day. But he's still here just over 2yrs later and is one of my best drivers (i hope he doesn't read this!) and i even paid him for the free week when i realised he was good!!! try it!

exactly what i was going to say. i did and havnt regreted it. tho i may chop it in for a new husky 560xp when they are on the shelves

Would say save money and get a 357xp from jonsey on here, fr jones. I sold my 340 on ebay to part fund and truly wish i had done sooner. I mainly use for firewood and when works saw is too gutless.

You really wan't a pro saw. Your going to be using it everyday (hopefully), saving a days wages now might seem like a good idea, however when your sweating and it isn't working well then your going to realise it's false economy. If you can't afford to buy a saw now, then that's fine. Just wait til you can afford one.

nope id recomend a brand new 346xp from fr jones
