Hi all I am looking into having a diesle van heater fitted into my van via the tank as live most of the year in it and winter is fast approaching .

 

If anyone has had one fitted to there camper van can let me have the details of where you had it done ?

Hi, they are expensive. I wanted 1 for my big van so i could leave all the wet geat in overnight to save bringing it in the house at night. It was about £1400.

i think you call them eberspatchers

For the tiny amount they use fitting a tank would be disproportionately expensive

 

No it wouldn't, all it would need is a standard yerrycan, makes filling it a doddle too. If he lives in it "most of the year" as he says he'll go through quite a bit of diesel. The other (priceless) advantage is that if you're low on fuel, you may get chilly but you will still be able to drive to the pump!:sneaky2:
