My spikes have disappeared into the abyss of a yard!:sneaky2: I am sure they will turn up but I need them to work! Now, they were Kliens and ok but do I go for aluminum Gekos that I have tried or the carbon fiber ones!?:confused1: I am not to sure on the all velcro models as the ones I have tried the bottom buckle spins and twists the velcro. Has anybody actually used the Komets?

Where has Gekos in stock ready to go?:001_rolleyes:

If you're getting gecko's you should be aware that there are three different gaff types to chose from and I ended up with the euro types because my boss ordered them. I can't get along with the gaffs but the pads seem comfortable. At the min I'm climbing on bashlins with buckingham pads with the metal insert to stop the pad from shifting around. These have been the best ones I've had

I advise that if you buy the ali gekos get the ones with the leather strap at the bottom not the velco one.

Haven't used the leather strap style but it HAS to be better than the velco as it is total garbage!

They seem nice spikes other than that although I think the spikes are made of fairly soft metal as they go blunt quite quickly.

Carbon geckos all the way the old style with leather bottom strap is way better but the top padding from the new style is far more comfy.... Was lucky enough to get my hands on an old set and make some hybrids, cheers steve!!

Got a set of carbons with the leather bottom strap and velcro top myself. They and I are best mates at the moment.
