by the time you drive to job, get kit out and ready, get tree down and cut into managable sizes, pack up and get the next job it will be lunch time.

So how many lads would be on the job? and how much would you charge?

I think 300 is steep just to get it on the ground.

 

If access is very good, I'm sure you could get a fully qualified Tree surgeon and not some cash in the back pocket diy muppet, to take it down and away for not much more than 300.

 

The hard part is the cleanup

So are you saying that you charge £700 a day for a two man crew?, if you could have that job done by lunch time surely you could do another job of a similar size in the afternoon. I must be in the wrong trade.

Nope, I would fit another smaller job in after lunch. and its nothing to do with my day rate...I price for the job! :sneaky2:

now then chap, i'm not a tree surgeon so i would'nt have a clue what the price would be, i just thought that £350 for a 2 man gang for a mornings work was a bit steep.
