Question time again!

If I want to buy a tree from a grower, what are the sizes I can buy, and what are the terms that are used?

Thanks for looking and your time.

buy the smallest pref one year old.

it will settle in and establish it self quicker.

if you go for the instant tree it will take more after care than the one year old.

the one year old will catch up within a few years,

what species are you looking for ?

I know of some one who is looking for a tree to break up a red brick wall of a house opposite to their garden. So the bigger the tree the better. It also helps with my insentive bonus if they get a tree supplied and planted by the company I work for.

If you are intrested the trees I have suggested are

Sweet gum

Whitebeam

Joseph Rock's Rowan

Tibetan Cherry

Snake barked Maples

Strawberry dogwood or a

Strawberry Tree

They don't want anything that grows too big.

Go for Leylandii and you can get a regular job cutting them
