i was 21 yesterday, did a quote on a 2004 navara about a month ago and was like £1900 with 2 years no claims, stuck my mums name on it and it went down to £750, might be worth a try for you

Be very careful, they are really clamping down on this, you could find that when it comes to the crunch you are not insured!!!

NFU are good but there not big fans of young drivers, try elephant.com but you need to pay the full year up front, there normally in the top five in a comparison site for myself anyway.

Make sure and try 2 or 3 comparison sites try marks and spencers there good just now.

What year is the motor and what did you pay for it?

My parents brought it from new in 06, i will become the registered owner and keeper when i can get insurance that is suitable.

it is a 2006 plate and it is valued at around £8,000

Thanks

well this is a 3ltr, so they just go whooooo hold on, we can charge what we want here young driver under 25 its stupid really< not all drivers of my age are boy racers with loud pumping music and screeching tires!

when you say my name do you mean you had the car registered to you and you as the keeper and your son as a main driver?

Go and buy a 4x4 mag as there are plenty of ads in them for insurance. You will be surprised if you phone the company direct as they don't have to pay a broker ect so are a good bit cheaper

okay worth a shot

Thanks
