was thinking about creating a website to try and increase our work load...anybody else created a web page and do you think it has created more work for you? cheers...

Create a web-page the printed means of advertising is going away and since I have read about the Yellow pages going as well? Now would be a good time. It is not very expensive and I am sure you can get plenty of help from people in the buis. from ArbTalk

yeah im sort of leaning towards the theory that people are starting to turn more to the internet to find companies to carry out work. just dont want to feel like im missing out on a way of getting my business out there to potential customers.

If you're registered with checkatrade you dont need your own web site.

 

If you register for the soon to launched Arbtalk directory, you won't need your own website.

if you google for "getting british business online" you can get a free website with yourname.co.uk address nothing to lose really!

I'd approach it from the other end, why wouldn't you?

 

Pull a youth off the street and they'll have you up and running in no time.

(you may need permission from the local authorities to abduct youths, check with your council)
