Some days life just sucks....I get summonsed to the managers office @ 4.30pm this arbo...and told thanx for coming in...due to the credit crunch you are hereby fired.

Not even the month notice in the contract...some bulls**t about a years term blah blah...

There is only one arborist on the estate now, this against the HS&E regs if he has to climb.

You know when youve been tangoed!

Anyway, 10 + yrs experience, NPTC 30, 31(a&b)36, 39 and 41 ...Chapter 8. NCH Arb

I have been running arb dept for @ 1 yr...report prep Grant apps etc...I am based in central norfolk.

I am looking for a decent job if anyone reading this has something ....:mad1:

After felling the beech with phellinus spp, I was visited by the tree officer .....I insisted he drop an email to Gurney warning him that root zones and diggers dont mix...it was wilful destruction as he admitted he didnt want the phoenix beech....I dont have much confidence in NNDC to be honest. I am assuming that the spoilt little man does not take kindly to be told what he can & cannot do with his own trees.

Either way...not my problem now!!
