Secure your gear first - Get a mesh panel ( dog guard) for the tub bulkhead ( behind your seat) , mesh inner gate for the rear door and mesh for the rear windows (if you have them).Landys are a piece of **** to break into , the above will make it much harder.

 

Good luck with your new ownership , you'll either love it or hate it .

upgrade the security, don't wax oil untill the chaissis is completly sound otherwise your just hiding the problem, check things like the rear x member as they can go quite often. and some polybushes transformed the handling of mine!!!

This is the best bit of kit to go with your bate hitch :thumbup:

 

I then had one winch for the two land rovers I was running at the time.....kept it safe from being nicked and out of the elements/salt and wasnt running around with the extra weight when it was'nt needed
