what an awesome bit of riverine habitat they have created with that large woody debris :thumbup:

 

what you should have done was fasten the trunk to the stump and leave the crown of the tree in the river

just watching tree dismantle vids and it popped up in the side bar,theres a few guys on arbtalk that have posted tree work vids

We had a spate of tree felling on our sites. We had some oik running around with a bowsaw felling trees at will. We had to replace almost all of our benches because they had been cut through. Not long after that we had some going around with a chainsaw felling or ringbarking sizable (18 inch + dhb) trees that we had to fell much to the upset of the local community.
