Hate them, sick of picking up wire and paper mess from my own and neighbours woods. They are up there with foil balloons that hang around in tree tops for ages. Perhaps those that use they wouldn't mind me putting a pile of part burnt rubbish in their garden ?

Absolutely lethal . Last year on a little camping trip to wales a group of adults set off 12 or more of these lantern things . They were all laughing joking until 3 of them landed in the next field which was full of tents . I mean how retarded are some people . Ban them I say .

I have seen a few of them stuck up in trees. I dont see the point in them to be honest, i mean they are pretty boring until they set fire to something. Fire up a rocket instead i say, they at least do something and only set fire to the sky for a second or 2.

you's obviously havent seen a farm animal die in pain with the wire piercing there gut.Like Joy says they land in the crops then get chopped up.The nfu are trying to ban them.Bring it on

Was going to say that they are a pain for farmers, as for setting fire to logs that would just be a bit ironic.:001_huh:

Sat outside one night for about 20 minutes watching two red glows in the distance slowly rising into the night sky before disappearing. Convinced we were watching UFO's and even took photos until we put 2 and 2 together and finally came up with 4.

i did the same one night riding my motorbike home,, almost came of as iwas fixed to this odd light in the sky
