Hows the log sales going now

got 3 orders this week so im optomistic.i do free delivery in a 10mile road miles distance then so much a mile after depending on how big a load they want

Going well at the moment. Only problem I've got is I buy my kindling in as it's not viable to invest in the equipment to do it myself for the quantity I sell but my supplier's supplier is letting him down. And I'm just about out of it I only need a couple hundred bags for now!

Reading the Free Ads in a kebab shop in Rye on Saturday and amongst the many log ads there was someone selling 4m3 for £110 (seasoned hardwood, apparently).

 

It's tempting to buy the lot, then spend the winter sat in a warm cab!

Lots of people advertising seasoned hardwood at stupidly cheep prices then deliver a pile of crap. We have had a lot of new customers that have been caught this way. Put price up again this year 1.8 cube is now £175 and no one has complained. Ive found if people are happy with the product and you deliver on time they will pay the price. Bring on the winter

Domestic orders still bit quiet however just landed a 6000 net wholesale order on top of my other year round wholesale supply
