I normally carry around 30-40 tonne of split logs and try to keep 75-125 tonne of cord in stock:blushing: realise what a small setup I must have compared to lads like you. Oh and running the Briquette machine and the

SM70 branch logger for my kindling(that machine is awsome a 20kg net of kindling in 5 minutes and the're going out at a tenner).

We're still looking at a branch logger but struggling to find much info other than what's on Welmacs website or Youtube. We're thinking more for usign it for small roundwood when inter row cleaning but can't find anyone out there using one to get feedback from.

 

From what I've seen on the videos though they look simple yet effective (if not a little visciuos on the PTO ones)

If the timber is relatively green the branch logging machine copes alot better than with dry timber. The largest stuff i put through mines is about 1"x1" which is small i know but i can feed that in like a chipper(not just 1 piece at a time)
