Still mad here... delivered a load today and asked where they had heard about me and she pointed across the road and said you delivered there and they recommended you and then I remembered that I had been recommended to them by a previous customer...I have even cut down on my advertising to try and slow it down a bit.

Ben are you taking those orders out from the truck or out of the tipper??Just wondering if the tipper trailer is going to work yet?

2 bulk bags, 2 pick up loads and a trailer load this morning, trailer worked great - unfortunately i forgot to unplug the remote and towed it along the rd for a good mile till remembered doh!

I have tyraped the remotes in all my tippers facing backwards in the front cross member to keep the weather out . You just put your hand through the hole you cant see what you are pressing but it only goes two ways. Will take a pic if needed.

green wood only gives half the heat of fully seasoned so unless its half price and you can wait a year its a waste of time. So fully seasoned at £90 a cube or wet crap for £60 which would you choose :thumbup1:

Made me mad yesterday when the guy on phone says he can get great dry seasoned H/W for £60 1.2 metres! told him to buy it as I am not running a charity, would be loosing money if I delivered H/W for that price!

Bet its going in some geezers back pocket and is not legit business etc, refuse to get angry, If H/W £40 tonnes at roadside for green timber, how can you sell it for less than the going price after all the work that goes into it??

Back to thread - sales steady, most days max number of deliveries I can do going out, plenty of dry stuff in log barns!
