Today, the saprophytic Coprinus group.

 

A representation of the visual differences of species within a genus.

 

C. picaceus - the Magpie Ink cap

C. atramentarius - the Common Ink cap

C. micaceus - the Glistening Ink cap

C. disseminatus - the Fairy Ink cap

C. lagopus - the Hares Foot Ink cap

C. comatus - the Shaggy Ink cap

Great pics there David:) its probably been asked but may I ask which camera you use?gotta get a decent camera soon

 

Lorry, I have a Canon G11, but to be very honest I've seen great shots taken with far inferior cameras.

 

I think it's more to do with perseverence, getting down & dirty & tuning ones eye in :thumbup1:

Cheers David I think I remember Rich Rule mentioning his camera it's around the 300 mark with really good reviews might try one of those (when I remember what cam it was):)

 

Lumix LX3 mate. I think they have an updated version now though. <ime is a couple of year old now.
