Is there a North/South divide when it comes to learning opportunities and "Arb" shows

after having a discussion on locations of shows/events in the world of arb and us northerners "moaning", i have plotted all AA training events and conferences for this year past and present, all location of arb shows past and present and the AA branches (representation of each area)

apart from one course on nature and bats in preston and the BS3998:2010 meets that also went on in preston there is NOTHING in the north west and i am forced to drive hundreds of miles to get involved

I don't mind the drive but wouldn't it be fair to have some things up 'ere:sneaky2::thumbup1:

Cheshire is sarrf isn't it mate?

On a serious note though, surely it's all to do with population density?

Back to not serious - how about a north vs south axe throwing comp at Jonesie's show?

I think it's too cold for them up north

I do agree, stuff is just too far for a day trip! The cost of courses and fuel runs the budget dry and travelodge ain't too cheap!

You're just so ungrateful!!!

The AA give you all those opportunities to escape the grim Oop Norf and get yourself to some more civilised places in the the beautiful south and you can't even thank them for it.

Pah, you ingrate.
