After seeing Drew's hammock picture its kind of made me decide to buy one and go sleep up a big tree and catch the morning from up high.

So....Does anyone know where to get them from as im sure normal b&q ones won't be right:lol:

Thanks

Oh preferably from a uk supplier so i can get one before winter:001_rolleyes:

Hennesey Hammocks (google) are the best going, all in one hammock, tarp and rigging. Dead easy to rig up. I use one for canoeing, really top notch quality but a little cold in winter.

Just found it on amazon. Thanks for the point in the right direction:thumbup1:. Looks like they thought them out pretty well too. :thumbup1:

If your going to sleep high in the Hennesey make sure you get one with a side zip on the net or you will have to be imaginative with how you tie in!

A mod light weight stretcher would do although not very wide or you could go for an expensive tree boat!

I love my Hennesey ultra light!

For sleeping up high i personally prefer the treeboat. The hennessy is awesome for lightweightness though but i prefer the heavy dutyness of the treeboat but the payoff is extra weiught. Matt has slept at around 81m up a gum in his hennessy though so its horses for courses really. Get both and then you wont be sleeping on your own:)

Bought a tree boat some years ago. Got the one with the compartment for inserting a carry matt. A must imo, keeps the cold off ya back up their.

Lived in mine for about 6wks in some woods. It was great:thumbup1:

Oh yea, got it from pro climber back then. Sure Caroline still dose them.

got my hennessy hammock with the side zip a few weeks ago and i literally look for excuses to sleep in it! such a good piece of kit, just get some insulation underneath you to stay nice and toasty, you wont regret getting one.
