To chip in with some hammock opinions, I'm a DD Hammocks fan myself. I've spent months at a time not sleeping in a bed and most of that time I was in my hammock. Did my back a world of good. Hung it from trees, up trees, balconies, even just put it on the ground and used some stick to suspend the mosquito net. Bomber.

Frontline hammock, also what I have. Not their lightest but solid, has the double layer sleeve underneath for insulation/keeping biting things away too.

Have a DD 3x3 tarp aswell, brilliant sleeping combo.

Got a Hennessy and it's great, though the supplied tarp is a little small. Enough for shelter but leaves no view unseen when changing clothes. Bit of advice for Hennessy users; pop a wp bag over your footwear as you enter the hammock. Otherwise they'll be full of water or insects in the morning.

 

DDs tend to come with larger tarps and the mosi nets if integrated, are larger than the Hennessy. So you can sit or lay on top of the mosi net if just relaxing. Unlike the Hennessy, where the mosi nets are too small to be lead on top of, as they tend to rip from their stitching.

 

If you want to sleep, get a Hennessy or DD. If you want to sleep and maybe just relax and hangout, get a DD. If you intend sleeping out in cold weather. Treat yourself to a wp quilted under-blanket. Nothing worse than having a cold back in the hammock.
