Still burning away here in damp old North Yorkshire. Nice bit of larch crackling away every evening to warm the bath water and dry the dogs / washing.

I've got some lovely dry oak in the fire and it's just ticking over. Chilly outside still.

No fire lit tonight and it's plenty warm enough. Probably the first time this year.

There have been other nights with no fire but it wasn't warm enough.

Been nice here for a fair few days now. Not only no fire but opening all the windows to stop being too hot. Makes a change thou as we have had our fair share of sh1t weather over the last year.
