Jensen 528T blade bolt torque?

I wound them up to 140 NM,thats 110ft pounds.No "clicking" banging,clanking or peices of blade firing through the top of the chute.

I don't think you need to go any higher than 110 ft/lb Mike, you should be ok with that. Just make sure you clean the back of the blades and the seat area so they sit nice and flat

 

I've found that the more bolts holding the blade the less the torque Ie 5 bolts at 85 ft/lb or 3 bolts at 110 ft/lb.

Are you sure that's a specified torque for chipper blades ?

 

My bandit is 75 ft/lb

Greenmech 6" is 110 ft/lb for one bolt holding the blade in a seat

 

Big Vermeer Blades are 210ft/lbs

 

Don't worry about the blades not beeing clean,if I catch that groundie "foot feeding" the Farmi,he'll be licking them clean.
