Ditto. I have been tiling the bathroom this weekend. I enjoy it but I can't say I'm any good at it.

HAve you got a decent tile cutter? A good table wet saw makes all the difference, and also get the best grout you can, BAL is best. Cheap tiles and expensive grout is ok, the other way round is not!

I to love brick laying and was pretty good at it when i was at college. I do a little bit of hop picking every year just done some evening shifts last year but its satisfying but not as satifsying as the gfood beer that comes with it.

Its also great to be part of a dying tradition and still being a tiny part of keeping it going.

Starting some old machine that hasn't run in years i.e an old motor mower or mercedes in a barn for 25 years...

I remember managing to start a Hanomag dozer 26 years after it had been parked up and left to die! Just loved seeing the huge plume of black smoke as the thing spluttered into life after so long asleep

Grassmen Fulla The Pipe

Ive just watched the full 8mins 26 secs of that clip, that was friggin awesome!

If that doesnt inspire respect for the "green men" of our isles NOTHING will!

Some serious hardcore silage production:thumbup1:
