I'm going to rough beats in north Yorkshire. It's a small cheap family festival, look it up in facebook. The lumberjack cowboy heart break trucking co. are well worth watching. My brothers mate runs Kendal calling but I can't make it this year.

I think the last really good, proper festival I went to was probably the forest fayre in about 1993....it was a little bit wet though......in a former life I think lol!

Oh god, Tommer, that brings back some, admittedly vague, memories!!! I scanned through the link and can recognise some of the vehicles from my Travelling days down in the West Country :lol::lol:

My friends and I were organising our 4th annual (except 2010's break) underground music festival 'The Philosopher's Fair' ( Philosophers Fair | Facebook ) until this wednesday just gone, when we had a meeting with the police and environmental health. They have pretty much made it impossible for us to put it on this year with mountains of paperwork and £20k+ policing and security costs.

They said they were scared it would lead to an illegal rave. hmm.

Might go to Boomtown and have a chance to see snoop dogg at Lovebox which would be funny :thumbup1:

oh yeh, strawberry fair in cambridge as always!
