Well phones can geotag a camera image without recording your every move!

 

Just thought it was interesting given the shreiks of protest about the google streetview car and the wifi sampling. Apparently, pundits predict the first iphone subpoena in the states by the end of the week. Should be interesting.

Don't bother me find it quite useful in photo albums when it recognises the places I have been and puts them in a place on the photo album... And makes me feel better about mr self for nor just stating in the same hole !

The info gets sent to Apple twice a day - it wouldn't worry me too much but i'd probably like the option to turn it off. Has anyone downloaded the viewing tool to see where they've been?

your movements can be tracked (by the phone company / govt agencies) with any mobile phone as long as the sim card is in and the battery is not flat. even if the phone is switched off.
