Working in holyrood park today.Hard to believe we are in the middle of a capital city....

 

What other city has a wee mountain.

I've only been there the once and I thought something similar. Within literally metres of a huge city, you have this amazing, wild escarpment.

Sat here bored and looked at your pics. Very nice too. I was brought up in Plymouth, Devon. Out of the back of my parents house I can see the sprawling and ever consuming city but out of the front I see the vastness of Dartmoor - look oneway for the stress of the city and turn around and you have the tranquility and ruggedness of Dartmoor - COOL!
