ah but i haven't changed the handles.

 

Exactly, change the handles and your secs are not quite as old as you thought!

 

You have changed every major component so they are new secateurs and have not lasted as many years as you think, only the non moving large halndle parts have stood the test of time.

 

No matter though, I lose the flipping things quicker than you wear them out!

Ars Secateurs

 

Haven't used these for many years but still the best i have ever used.

Worked Nursery pruning grafts, taking cutting etc. Thousands and thousands of cuts and these as I remember are the best. Lost them somewhere.

 

Bahco are my next choice.

Felco never liked them much except for the one with the extra length for two hand use. Thats a good one.

you can drill through the Alu handle and tie a loop of cord through the hole and clip them to your harness.

 

same as that:thumbup: i also used to put a wii controler strap through it to put round my wrist sometimes.
