My Brother in law has written a book on Lalique, he got to know the family in Paris and interviewed them.

Ooh, what's the title :thumbup1:? If I haven't already got it, I would be very interested in having a read of it.

If you hate yours so much, why don't you get it covered or removed? Was it a late night after a few beers, seemed like a good idea at the time jobby?:

Not at all, both mine were what I wanted at the time and I was stone cold sober. An eagle on each arm and they looked okay when they were done but thirty years on they look absolute pony.

Kinda got used to em and I aint about to waste anymore dosh on getting em covered or removed.......:001_smile:

That is the biggest reason not to get one for me...........you either have to have them touched up or put up with the effects of a living, moving, stretching, sagging canvas.....

I think that's one of the great things about tat's: they tell a story of who you where and what influenced you an made you the person that you are now.

I know a few people who no longer like their tattoos, for various reasons, but they would never alter them because, as you say, they are so used to them and they are part of who they are

I wish my single lonely tat' was anywhere near that good.

It wasn't my intention to start a "look at my ink" thread, but here ya go:

I have heard of "Arse Antlers" but never seen "Arse Invertibates".Very original Janey!
