Mick you are a Legend and a true mate to Dave, £2 k that's fantastic, you should be very proud of yourself for organising it all and being there for him, your input will definately be a major part of his amazing healing process mentally and physically :)

Was good to meet everyone and good to see who we have been helping out I know I don't post much on the forum but was good to meet everyone. :thumbup1:

I agree with Stevie on his comments about Mick and Dave, really has shown me the effort people will go to in order to help a friend out.

A hand to Mr Bullman for starting a forum with a good sense of community in order to pull together a group of people to help out :congrats:

Had a good day yesterday. There's a chance I may have seen some of you but not realised! I was walking round in a stihl shirt at a husky sponsored event!

Well done to everyone for organising it.

That cheque is an amazing figure, completely selfless, good on you Mick and everyone for donating!

Thanks for all the nice comments....:001_smile:

It's all down to Steve for letting me do it and you lot for donating the initial £700 and then donating lots to be sold and then bidding for the lots.

Hats off to Steve, Arbtalk and everyone on it......

nonsense Mick, i did nothing. In fact i felt a little bad about the whole cheque presentation thing. I was caught a bit off guard. In hindsight i think everyone would agree it should have been you presenting that:thumbup1:

If nothing has meant creating and developing this forum, enabling the whole Arb (and other connected trades) to have a voice and form a community, then I'd hate to see the result of you doing something!!
