Some of the best roads ive ever Ridden, magnificent scenery, lack of law enforcment (not that I condone speeding) magnificent bends and a nice grippy surface.

1.A87 Kyle to Commando memorial

2.A831 Drumnadrochit to Cannich (Caledonian Forest towards Loch Affric, a must see)

3.A591 Keswick to Grasmere (pre land Rape)

4.A591 Keswick to Bothel (My home run):bike:

Any one got any others?

No.3 was the nearest I have ever come to not being here any more.

Playing catch up in half light dropping down the to Thirlmere from Grasmere 'that' hump too fast. One of those 'time stands still' moments. Can still remember looking down while airborn seeing car healights on the right, stone wall on the left :scared1:. Luckily landed in the middle with a bit of a slapper, stopped asap and had 3 smokes one after the other, then went back home at about 40 for a change of underwear.

Not known for its tollerance to speeding bikers! I Know exactly what you mean, a mate of mine had a similar moment following us took up smoking as soon as we stopped, and the inevitable underwear change.

Was soon after that yours truly parked a Gsxr 1000K5 into the back of a car, walked away luckily but the bike didnt! So i bought a more sensible option........ZX10R!

A470 between Porthmadog and Machynlleth

A5 between Bethesda and Llangollen - up through the Nantfrancon Valley, along the edge of the lake under the shadow of Tryfan, the blast through Capel down into Betws Y Coed.

Fantastic runs.

:thumbup1::thumbup1: Both excellent roads. Remember doing them both on my bike when I was younger.
