Started as a Marine in 74 in Malta did selection and attached to "Bradbury LInes". Left Marines 82 (having never been back since 76)...Joined Parachute regt 5 hours laters, back... Back at now "Sterling" within the army.

Left in 85 and ran specialist K&R teams around the world for the next 23 years.

 

Did my Cs's and love it!!!!!!

Joined in 1989, did 5 years, left for a while and now in the TA. Just got back from a 2 week exercise in Sennybridge on Tuesday night and very much in the recovery phase!

 

Very much a forces family:

Father - Lieutenant RA 1960s

Grandfather - S/Sgt RA 1924-1946

Great grandfather - Staff Sergeant Major RASC 1890s-1920s/30s

Great great grandfather - Troop Sergeant Major 11 Hussars 1867-1895ish

 

Don't know beyond that!
