What sort of area do you cover in your job? This week I have been to Wetherby, Leeds, Harrogate, York, Hull, outside Doncaster and Hull all on jobs. The other crew have been up to Richmond twice this week. This is normal for us throughout the week. Is this the sort of distance most of you cover.

I am not complaining in the least. It would just be interesting to see what everybody else does.

We are based just outside Wetherby.

I love working away even if the moneys not amazing, makes a change, + round near me its all conifers, nice to see stuff n things not near you .............

The bulk of my work is on two larger towns which are located 50 and 70 kms away respectively. I hardly ever get any work in my home town so I have to travel pretty much every day.

I suppose it depends on what type of work and who for gives distance travelled. My old outfit, Barrowcliff's, did ute work and we covered Gainsborough - Northampton and Boston - Uttoxeter and we lived pretty much in the middle.

if the moneys right we will travel anywhere... normaly work in a 50 mile radius, but have been to shrewsbury which is over a 300 mile round trip.. got to look at a job in tilbury today which is 70miles away..
