Evening all!

Been having a few probs with my tipper recently. Tipping no problem even fully loaded, but lowering takes for ever:thumbdown:. Thought it might have been the cold making the fluids all gloopy but now it's warmer it's still no better.

Any ideas gents?

Thanks in advance

Are you pushing the down button twice on the way down? It takes for ever to come down on the first press of the button. If you do two it comes down much much quicker.

The down function on most tippers has a built in restriction to prevent the tipper guillotining body parts you would otherwise want to keep, on occasion they get partially blocked slowing the action.

Tried the 2 button press before and thats not made any difference. The oil vent is clear and it's able to breath. It's the 3rd one I've had (had 2 stolen) and yet it's the first one with this problem! I just wondered if any one else has had the same problem before I end up booking it in somewhere.

Thanks for those that have suggested ideas :001_smile:

My ifor played silly bug@#rs too, it did cure itself, try rapidly flicking the ram up followed by the double click down , repeat for a couple of minutes.

Have you considered checking the hinged end and other moving parts to see if they are bound? It could be the solenoid but check the easy stuff first.

Sorry to derail,

Bushy could you put up a larger pic of the trailer in your avatar, please.

Looks an interesting set up with the dumper on the rear.
