what would you pay someone for day rate for forestry work

yh its my first job in forestry been doing it jus over two months but i feel i earn more than £50, done mostly hard wood coppice sites and problay cut anywhere now from 8 tons and my best being probaly 11 so far, surley day rate should be simalar to what i do on piece rate, ive done mostly piece rate so far but latley hes stuck me on day rate with him

mate i get £50 with no tickets draging brash out of back gardens and raking up, you need to speak to your governor

what was yr piece rate?

 

thers yr answer,your basicly a trainee, & still a lot to learn,do 3,mths ,then ask for a rise,& again:001_smile:

I spent two years earning alot less than that theres no harm in asking for a rise or just asking to go on a tonnage or peice rate. Dont get assey if he says no just ask why and keep learning and proving and as woodpicker says again when you think its right to.

yh i know im still learning which is fair enough i guess, just dosnt seem alot for what i do and providing everything and still gotta earn enough to pay the bills pay the bills:001_tt2:
