Did u900's run leaf springs then Matt?? I thought they were on coil springs ?

It was on coiled springs but for some reason i decided to have leaves put on the rear. As it stopped it rolling so much. I wish i had left coiled on there now.:blushing: T'is good fun tho getting launched out of the driver seat as you go into a bump.

Mog update

Well I was told on friday: If you can get the engine to us early monday we can fit it within a day for £xxx What they told me today: we think its going to take a bit longer 3 days!! for £xxxxxxxx

NOT happy I hate it when some one gives a time frame and price then doubbles it!!

Did you get the first price in writing??????????

No as it was all over the phone so i will have to stump up the cash But I am going to have a little chat with Ian (the boss) in the morning to let him know how unhappy i am about it! Its not so much the money its the time.

I had booked it out for work on wednesday so I will have to move the job!

Eddiegts, I'm afraid that sounds like typical Ian Phillips strategy. He can't be trusted. Ive had to get the engine out of my u1200 and it took 2guys 11 hours to get it out, clutch changed and the whole lot back in. And they had never seen a Unimog before! Skyhuck, count your lucky stars 'Park' are not your local dealer/fitter.

Eddiegts, seriously dude, find someone who wasn't born on a pirate ship. That guy has relieved me of a lot of money in the past and I've come across others with similar stories.
