whats required to mount a front 3 point linkage to a U1300? I understand about the hard mounting but does it require an extra hydraulic pump running off the gearbox, belts off the engine or can you somehow use the power steering pump?

Are we talking a U1300 or an ex military 1300L? The 1300 should already have hydraulics so you'd simply plug the rams in to the relevant spools. A 1300L doesn't come with that so you would need the hydraulic system too. I don't know for sure that it will fit but I can't see why it wouldn't? It's a belt driven pump so should just bolt on.

A steering pump won't have anywhere near the flow rate to do the job. It would take you a lifetime just to lift the arms!

Sorry its a 1300L. Im guessing a belt run pump would be a much easier and cheaper mount up than something mechanical off the running gear

Yes Dean, but then you MUST go down the O licence route

You take it off AG you need will need to look into your licence to see if you are capable of driving it, as it may fall into HGV category.
