Start by drawing what you want it to look like on the top and sides, then cut off the bits you dont want, and round it all off, ifms

 

Why don't you take a trip up to coney westen, steve? im sure ben and the others would be happy to give you some tips

Year, been meaning to go and have a go myself but never got round to it,

But worth a look, I think they might even have a crock up there, as I remember

so sorry to to derail a bit but at christmas got very bored and done this first ever bit of chainsaw carving:001_smile:

 

Is it me , or does that reddish brown bull, look as tho it is in mourning for the tree trunk.:confused1:

Well finally got round to doing the crocodile. dont think im going to be giving Tommy a run for his monry anytime soon, but the customer was happy!

 

Didnt have much wood to play with for the feet so the poor fella only has a small pair :biggrin:
